Working in Technology (WiT) Project Management - Summer 2026 Chicago, IL William Blair is seeking undergraduate students to participate in a 10‑week internship program during the summer of 2026. The program is designed to promote technology careers among high‑performing individuals from under‑represented backgrounds in the technology space, including but not limited to women currently enrolled, or intending to enroll, in a technology‑related program. The summer program also includes training, community service, and social events. Responsibilities Create project plans, timelines, and other necessary documentation to support business and project objectives Work with project management, collaboration tools such as Azure DevOps and Teams, and Smartsheet Gather and translate business requirements into user stories for the development team Assist with facilitation of daily team meetings, agile ceremonies, and keep information about the team's progress up-to-date and visible to all parties Assist the team in conducting data and system analysis Analyze product functions and processes built around user needs Develop needed metrics (quality, delivery rate, etc.) to identify areas of opportunity for improvement Qualifications Full‑time students currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a business or technology related field with anticipated graduation between December 2026 and June 2029 Must be organized and have a high attention to detail Good communication, presentation and critical thinking skills Ability to quickly learn new technologies Works well in team environments Good knowledge in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint Hourly Range $35 - $35 USD Equal Opportunity Employer William Blair is an equal opportunity employer.
