Would Ostomy Nurse- Clinical Coordinator Apply
JOB SUMMARY
Coordinates and provides consultative and direct clinical care services to wound, fistula, ostomy, continence care and any patients identified as high risk throughout inpatient and outpatient areas, in both adult and pediatric populations. Provides support to the wound team personnel in the performance of their duties. Serves as a clinical resource to nursing and medical staff, to ensure patients receive the highest quality care. Ensures regulatory compliance and performs patient care using evidenced-based practice. JOB DETAILS AND REQUIREMENTS
Type: Full Time (80 hours per 2 week pay period, with benefits)
Typical hours for this position: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing- required
- Master's degree in healthcare related field- required
License/Certification:
- Licensed Registered Nurse in the state of Missouri- required
- Certified Wound Ostomy Nurse or Certified Wound Ostomy Continent Nurse- required
- BLS- required
Experience:
- Five (5) years of certified wound ostomy or five (5) years of certified wound ostomy and continence nursing care- required
