Job Description
A clinical expert who assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the care for patients with chronic non healing wounds in an urban outpatient wound clinic. Functions as a consultant for patients with altered skin integrity, and complex wounds including chronic lower extremity and non healing surgical wounds.

Required Qualifications
Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License
Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
Within 2 years of hire: WOCN
Experience managing simple and complex wounds and ostomies (specialty areas may require additional experience).
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school. Applicants without a BSN degree must actively pursue and attain a BSN within five years of hire. Continued employment by Swedish beyond five years is contingent upon attaining the BSN degree. Registered Nurses employed by Swedish prior to December 1, 2012 are encouraged to pursue the BSN degree, but obtaining the degree will not be a condition of employment.
Upon hire: Board certification by the Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nurses Society (WOCN)
