Job Summary (Radiation Therapist)

- Administers ionizing radiation treatments to patients as prescribed by physicians.
- Calculates and sets up technical aspects of radiation therapy, including dosage, exposure time, and equipment settings.
- Monitors and evaluates patients physiological and psychological responses during treatment to ensure quality care.
- Educates patients and the community about radiation therapy procedures and related health topics.
- Assists with billing and coding processes for radiation therapy services.
- Completes other related duties as assigned by management.
- Requires an Associate s degree in Radiation Therapy or Radiation Technology.
- Must have previous experience as a Radiation Therapist.
- Holds a valid Wyoming Radiation Technologist license and current ARRT registration, both in good standing.
- Must have (or obtain within 60 days) and maintain current BLS certification.
- Demonstrates strong knowledge in anatomy, oncology, radiation therapy techniques, and dosimetry.
- Exhibits excellent customer service, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate ethical and legal accountability.
