Location: Pinon Health Center, Pinon, AZ
Pay Rate: $50 per hour + $31.15 per hour (stipends)
Schedule: Regular work hours are Monday Friday, 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. (40 hours/week)
Contract Length: 1 year

Period of performance: TBD 2026

Job Description:
The X-Ray Technologist provides full-scope diagnostic radiologic services within the Outpatient Department at Pinon Health Center. The role supports primary care, obstetric, and walk-in acute care needs by producing high-quality radiographic images for diagnostic evaluation. The Technologist ensures safe patient care, proper imaging technique, and adherence to IHS standards while delivering services to a diverse patient population.

Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (ARRT or ARDMS)

  • Active ARRT certification in Radiography (ARRT R)

  • Current CPR/BLS certification

  • Minimum of one year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.

  • Additional certifications and documents can be required through the application process.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic radiologic procedures for patients of all ages as ordered by providers.

  • Produce high-quality radiographic images to support accurate diagnosis and treatment.

  • Position patients, explain procedures, and ensure safety and comfort throughout imaging.

  • Set technical factors and operate X-ray equipment according to protocol.

  • Review images for clarity and repeat studies when necessary.

  • Notify radiologists or ordering providers of significant or urgent findings.

  • Maintain X-ray equipment, perform routine cleaning, and report maintenance needs.

  • Upload and transmit images to reading providers in a timely manner.

  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

  • Monitor and replenish radiology supplies and materials as needed.
