Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated X-Ray Technologist to join our radiology team in San Angelo, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. This is a full-time, permanent role with guaranteed hours and competitive compensation based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols.
  • Ensure proper patient positioning, safety, and comfort during imaging procedures.
  • Operate radiologic equipment to produce high-quality images for accurate diagnosis.
  • Verify patient identity and review medical history before procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of performed procedures and patient data in compliance with facility and regulatory requirements.
  • Follow infection control and radiation safety protocols at all times.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
  • Maintain and calibrate radiologic equipment; report malfunctions or issues promptly.
  • Participate in continuing education and training to stay updated on new techniques and safety standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Certification:
    • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
    • Current Texas State Radiologic Technologist license.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 1 year of experience.
