Located in our Newport Beach, California office, the Yardi/Business Systems Support Specialist will be part of the Technology team, reporting directly to the Associate Director, Technology.

The Yardi/Business Systems Support Specialist must enjoy working within a small, entrepreneurial environment that is mission-driven, results-driven and detail oriented. The ideal individual is expected to demonstrate sound analytical judgement, and the capacity to efficiently communicate, and present, findings to internal management and external entities. The Yardi Support Specialist will have the ability to work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities.

This position is 100% in office due to the collaborative nature of our company.

The Job Essentials:

This person’s key responsibilities will be as follows (including but not limited to):

  • Serve as primary technical support and administrator for Yardi products, including Voyager, Commercial Cafe, ABF, and Elevate
  • Collaborate with team members and Yardi Client support to resolve complex technical issues
  • Perform data uploads (ETL, CSV, FTP Transfers) & data validations
  • Assist with onboarding new properties and off-boarding sold properties
  • Develop Alteryx workflows related to validation, report automation, Tableau Dashboards, etc.
  • Act as a liaison for internal inquires and manages special projects
  • Assist accounting team with Advanced Budgeting and Forecasting in Yardi
  • Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships across departments and teams
  • Assist with 3rd party application integration with Yardi suite
  • Assist with Yardi related projects, initiatives and implementations
  • Assist the rest of the IT team with support for local business applications and equipment - laptops, printers, mobile devices, iPads, networking (wired and wireless), Outlook, Windows 10 etc.

The Qualifiers:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 1+ years of experience with Yardi Voyager, including Administration and setup
  • Experience analyzing real estate portfolio assets and/or financial statements
  • Strategic, analytical, technical, and project management skills
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows applications
  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills
  • Previous IT support experience (preferred)
  • Knowledge of basic SQL scripting (preferred)
  • Knowledge of Alteryx workflow programming (preferred)
  • Knowledge of Tableau or other BI design (preferred)
