We are seeking an Account Manager II to work in a hybrid role with our team out of our office in Charlotte, North Carolina.

What the day will look like:
The Account Manager II will assist Account Executives and Associate Account Executives on assigned accounts, running key processes that serve clients and undertaking the client-facing and internal activities related to these processes. Account Managers will also assist Brokers on commercial risk business.

Skills and experience that will lead to success:
Maintains effective and productive relationships with clients.
Performs account servicing functions including miscellaneous office duties in support of account servicing.
When not performed within a broking unit, gathers and analyzes data on exposures, loss history and standard and unique coverage needs for submissions with the Brokerage Unit.
Manages client open items lists and responds to client ad-hoc requests.
Gathers and analyzes data and drafts assigned elements of client service plans, stewardship reports and other convincing presentations tailored to the needs of the audience and the circumstances of the presentation.
Actively supports and monitors the renewal process.
Where applicable, serves as the primary interface with Aon Client Services (ACS), coordinating activities of the client service team and ACS to ensure that key processes assigned are performed effectively.
Primary collaborator with Aon accounting team on client invoicing and collections.
Receives and runs routine and sophisticated coverage inquiries and endorsement requests. Serves as key client liaison for items such as certificates, auto IDs, location additions, invoices, WC posting notices, allocations, premium finance agreements, summaries of insurance, and policy transmittals.
Understands best practices and leverages available resources, including centers of excellence (COEs) and ACS.

Education & Qualifications:
2 3 years of commercial insurance experience
P&C License is required
Travel required for client and business conferences
Proficiency in PC office products such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook is required
Evidence of ability to become proficient in the use of Aon specific software tools

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $69,000 to $75,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicants education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicants geographic location.
The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of Charlotte, NC. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.
