What Youll Be Doing:


The Data Analyst at Evolent will serve as a key technical expert to monitor and remediate encountered data issues, working with tools such as, but not limited to, the following: SQL/SSIS/SSRS, SAS, Microsoft suite/tools (e.g. Office, PowerShell, Teams), File/ETL workflow applications (e.g. ETL coordination tools, MoveIT File Monitor, iSeries), Atlassian products (e.g. Confluence, JIRA), Bot (RPA Robot Process Automation) application, Windows Task Scheduler and several internal built applications, etc. Continual focus on developing process optimization solutions to better meet organizational needs.


Collaboration Opportunities :


This position serves as a technical operational point-of-contact for the mentioned functional areas and collaborates with several other teams and/or departments to further operationalize tasks that may require building new processes, solutions, documentation, etc. along with communicating vital information to key stakeholders related to the status of monitored processes. Assisting with Tier 2 and Tier 3 internal support teams to remediate complex data issues.


What You Will Be Doing:


  • Monitor, Execute and Remediation Daily Operational Processes related to enterprise-wide production interfaces with a continuous focus on process improvement.




  • Monitor bot automation processes to ensure end-to-end file processing is completed with high efficiency and on a timely basis for client and/or internal stakeholders to best meet or exceed prescribed SLAs/OLAs measured against.




  • Routinely assist and collaborate with Tier 2/3 teams to remediate complex ETL/data issues and discuss optimization or migration of current operational tasks overseen by Tier 2/3.




  • Monitor various client inbound & outbound data file extract creations and remediate job failure issues as they arise along with updating operational process tickets and request status updates to processes as applicable.




  • Troubleshoot various SQL server and/or SSIS issues to ensure successful end-to-end processing of client data to various data marts and/or data warehouses.




  • Work to establish and maintain strong relationships with all internal groups, particularly the client-facing team, and communicate real-time updates regarding file loading status and/or potential delays to the timeliness of loading of client data.




  • Coordinate multiteam faceted processes within Evolent business units and create process documentation in Confluence for other team members to reference for future training of new hires.




Qualifications Required and Preferred:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education. (Preferred)




  • 1-3 years minimum of experience with SQL Server Management Studio fundamentals and advanced skills (e.g. writing queries, utilizing SSIS, SSRS to support operations ). (Required)




  • Substantial knowledge of ETL and Data Warehousing processes along with Microsoft Suite applications ( e.g. Word, Excel ) and their functions. (Required)




  • Strong interpersonal and/or communication skills both oral/written ( e.g., will need to communicate with internal and external stakeholders regularly ). (Required)




  • Has a strong ability to apply problem-solving and critical thinking skills in unfamiliar and/or unknown situations and solution design/implementation. (Required)




  • Knowledge of Healthcare Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) & Medical Billing transactions. (Preferred)




  • Ability to develop, refine, and document business-related SOPs with minimal oversight. (Preferred)




Technical Requirements:


We require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 Mbps and, specifically for all call center employees, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router. These at-home technical requirements are subject to change with any scheduled re-opening of our office locations.

The expected base salary/wage range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000. This position is also eligible for a bonus component that would be dependent on pre-defined performance factors. As part of our total compensation package, Evolent is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to qualifying employees. All compensation determinations are based on the skills and experience required for the position and commensurate with experience of selected individuals, which may vary above and below the stated amounts.
