Job Title Analyst, Surgical Services - Surgery Administration Location and Schedule Providence Portland Medical Center, 4805 NE Glisan St, Portland, OR. Full-time day shift, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Remote work not available. Job Description In this role, the individual will support daily surgical and procedural operations by maintaining and optimizing preference cards for operating rooms and monitoring case time averages. They will regularly review and update preference cards to ensure accuracy, alignment with physician needs, and consistency across cases, helping to drive efficiency and reduce variability in the operating environment. Additionally, they will analyze data such as case time averages to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas where workflow adjustments can enhance productivity and throughput. This work supports data‑driven decision‑making, improves scheduling accuracy, and ultimately contributes to delivering high‑quality patient care while maximizing operational performance. The Surgical Services Information Systems On‑Site Analyst 2 manages and coordinates the daily operations and maintenance of the Surgical Services Information Systems at the facility, analyzes user requirements, and plans, develops, and implements information systems for moderately complex processes. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or 5 years of experience in Surgery Information Systems. Experience with Crystal Report Writer and SQL queries, and analyzes data using MS Excel – Pivot Tables. Demonstrated experience in effective decision‑making, problem‑solving skills, and strong organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications 5 years of Clinical Operating Room (perioperative) experience. Master's Degree in Computer Science, Medical Information Systems, or Information Systems Management. Training in multiple programming languages, Crystal Reports, and other reporting tools. Experience working with various computer operating systems, databases, websites, hardware, and software programs. Experience facilitating teams and staff training/education. Benefits Salary range: $35.66 – $55.37 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
