We're seeking an Assistant Controller to join a high-growth, private equity-backed organization. This is an opportunity to step into a highly visible leadership role where you'll influence accounting operations, develop talent, strengthen processes, and help scale the finance function as the business continues to grow. Manage and develop a team of five accounting professionals. Partner with senior finance leadership on accounting strategy, process improvements, and operational initiatives. Ensure financial statements are accurate, timely, and compliant with applicable accounting standards. Support internal and external audit activities. Develop and enhance accounting policies, controls, and procedures. Drive automation and efficiency initiatives across accounting operations. Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to support business growth and financial performance. Assist with acquisition integration activities and evolving accounting requirements within a PE-backed environment. What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA required. Public Accounting experience required. Progressive accounting leadership experience. Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting. Experience managing accounting teams and developing talent. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving business environment. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Experience utilizing AI tools, including Claude, to enhance productivity, reporting, or finance operations is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
