Position Summary The Assistant Controller will play a key role as they assist senior managing accountants with specific assignments and responsibilities. Position Responsibilities Support the senior/managing accountant and wider finance team. Perform reconciliations of general ledger accounts. Prepare project profitability analysis, when requested. Attend meetings and assist with other administrative duties. Participates in the monthly close process to ensure complete and accurate reporting. Identify solutions to any discrepancies in financial records. Collaborate with financial team to create/develop internal policies and procedures. Additional duties as needed. Qualifications Required: High school diploma or GED. Preferred: Minimum 2 years of construction accounting with general ledger experience. Preferred: Experience with Timberline/Sage software a plus. Preferred: Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Physical Demands Must be able to sit at a desk and/or computer for prolonged periods of time. Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
