Responsibilities Develop and maintain ongoing evaluations of financial systems and procedures in compliance with generally accepted standards for financial control and corporate policies. Maintain accurate and consistent accounting records. Provide accurate, timely, and relevant management information. Build and maintain strong cooperative relationships with Magna Seating Systems/Intier and Magna Finance functions. Ensure favorable audit reports. Drive continuous improvement in financial management strength within the Finance Function and among Operations Managers. Support efficient financial planning processes. Manage cash flow, accounts receivable, collections, accounts payable and disbursements. Lead development and maintenance of MSC (Magna Seating Columbus) business planning process. Ensure proper maintenance of control systems to safeguard assets and monitor operations. Participate in weekly IT meetings with the Controller and IT team. Develop and adhere to operating procedures as part of ISO 14001/IATF 16949 implementation. Comply with all MAFACT requirements and applicable AODA and C-TPAT procedures. Complete all administrative duties accurately and on schedule. Conduct performance reviews informally or formally, ensuring reviews for all employees. Perform other duties as required. Qualifications Candidates must have relevant manufacturing or automotive manufacturing experience. They must hold a university degree or college diploma in a specialized occupational field such as Business or Accounting, and possess a professional accounting designation (CMA, CGA, or CA). A minimum of five years of post‑qualification experience in industrial accounting in the manufacturing sector is required, with experience in auto parts manufacturing considered an asset. Candidates should demonstrate practical experience with computers and Microsoft Office, strong math skills, excellent listening and communication skills, attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work well in a fast‑paced environment. They must be able to interact effectively with team members, maintain confidentiality, and use discretion and tact. Candidates must be physically capable of performing essential duties of the job and be able to show proof of authorization to work in the United States.
