This dynamic organization can offer excellent opportunities for career growth within a true team environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable generating frequent financial reports for management. They should track financial information in a well-organized manner and assist the Controller in all aspects related to finance within the organization. The Assistant Controller is a critical member of the accounting team and will work closely with the Corporate Controller and Management Team and will play a critical role in overseeing daily accounting operations in a growth-oriented environment Responsibiliti esGenerate financial reports for senior leadersh ipMaintain and oversee the General Ledger for multiple entiti esManage intercompany transactions and reconciliatio nsOwn and manage month end close, quarterly, and annual close cycle, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with reporting standar dsAssist with the preparation and delivery of monthly financial reporting packages to manageme ntPayroll processing using ADP payro llLead, develop, and retain a team of accounting professiona lsSupport Controller in all financial matters of the organisati onMonitor taxes and provide details for audi Qualificati ons Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field requi red.Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in the construction indu stryProven ability to manage and develop accounting teams through periods of growth and expan sionStrong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and internal contr ols.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial systems, and reporting to ols.Track record of driving process improvement, automation, or accounting system enhancement initi ves.Experience interfacing with external auditors and senior leadership on financial reporting mat #J-18808-Ljbffr
