Position Overview CV Resources is partnering with a long-standing client to identify an Assistant Controller to join their talented accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys working in a dynamic, operationally focused environment and wants to play a key role in financial reporting, close processes, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and financial analysis Prepare and review supporting schedules and account activity to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting Assist with preparation of internal financial statements, management reporting packages, and variance analysis Partner with accounting leadership to improve workflows, strengthen processes, and support operational efficiencies Coordinate audit support activities, including preparation of schedules and responding to auditor requests Assist with maintenance of accounting policies, internal controls, and compliance with GAAP standards Review banking activity and reconciliations while supporting treasury-related functions as needed Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and special financial projects across the organization Provide guidance and support to accounting staff and cross‑functional teams when needed Collaborate across departments to ensure accurate financial data and reporting consistency Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required 5+ years of progressive accounting experience required Strong experience with general ledger accounting and financial reporting Experience supporting audits and year‑end close activities Solid understanding of accrual‑based accounting principles CPA or CPA‑eligible strongly preferred Advanced Excel skills and experience working within ERP/accounting systems Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment Compensation & Benefits Salary Range: $95,000 - $110,000 annually Comprehensive benefits package includes: Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and paid sick leave Life and disability insurance Additional employee benefits and wellness offerings #J-18808-Ljbffr
