Responsibilities Develop and support automotive interior component programs, including Instrument Panels (IP), Crash Pads, and related automotive interior systems, from product development through production launch. Review engineering drawings, product specifications, customer requirements, and design changes to ensure product feasibility and compliance with customer standards. Conduct tooling, equipment, and manufacturing process reviews to support new product development and production readiness activities. Coordinate prototype builds, product validation testing, and development trials to verify product performance, manufacturability, and quality requirements. Apply Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) methodologies and participate in Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Control Plan development, and other product development activities. Manage project schedules, engineering changes, customer requirements, and development milestones to ensure timely completion of development programs. Perform root cause analysis and support corrective actions related to product design, manufacturing processes, tooling, and production issues. Prepare technical documentation, development reports, validation records, engineering change documents, and project status reports. Utilize engineering software and CAD tools to review product designs, manufacturing feasibility, and technical specifications. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a closely related engineering field. At least 1 year of Experience in automotive product development, engineering project coordination, manufacturing process development, or new product launch activities. Experience utilizing engineering software and CAD tools, including CATIA, MODView, AutoCAD, or similar engineering design and product review systems. #J-18808-Ljbffr
