Illinois Prisoner Review Board, located in Sangamon County, is seeking a Business Manager. The role reports directly to the Chief Fiscal Officer and requires a self‑starting, motivated individual experienced in fiscal operations and public safety. Responsibilities Serve as working supervisor for assigned staff. Analyze past and current expenditures to determine commodities, services, and equipment needs of the agency. Coordinate with Human Resources to complete timekeeping and payroll functions. Provide monthly reports and financial analyses to senior management. Ensure compliance with the Illinois Procurement Code and other applicable regulations. Travel as needed, including overnight stays, to fulfill duty requirements. Qualifications Four (4) years of college with major in business administration or related field. Two (2) years of professional business experience (e.g., Business Administrative Specialist or equivalent). Preferred: one (1) year in fiscal operations within a multi‑million‑dollar organization. Preferred: Two (2) years of professional experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) software such as SAP, database management systems such as HANA, SAMS, or comparable software. Preferred: One (1) year experience with BidBuy or other procurement software. Preferred: One (1) year experience with contract establishment, monitoring, and working within the Illinois Procurement Code. Preferred: Extensive knowledge of fundamental principles of modern business administration. Preferred: Bachelors’ degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Finance, Economics, or Accounting. Preferred: One (1) year experience with timekeeping and payroll functions in a business setting. Benefits Monday‑Friday schedule. Health, life, vision, and dental insurance. Pension plan. Deferred compensation and other pre‑tax benefit programs. (3) paid personal days (pro‑rated based on start date). (13‑14) paid state holidays annually.
