Description
The Joseph \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"Eddie\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" Ballard Western Kentucky Veterans Center is a 156-bed long term care facility located in beautiful Hanson, Kentucky that is committed to serving Kentuckys Veterans by fostering independence, preserving dignity and providing compassionate care.
We are currently seeking a motivated Registered Nurse to work in our nursing department as a Charge Nurse. This position will serve in the roll of Charge Nurse and supervise professional and ancillary employees in the administration of efficient nursing care.
Must have an active, unrestricted/probated status as a Registered Nurse on the KBN licensure verification.

This position, in Hopkins county has an approved Locality Premium of $14.36 in compliance with 101 KAR 2:034 Section 9(1).This job classification is approved for the following shift premiums, in compliance with 101 KAR 2:034 Section 9(2), which are applied to the base salary:

Minimum Requirements
EDUCATION: See Special Requirements.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Must have two years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: A bachelor's degree in nursing will substitute for one year of the required experience.

Probationary Period
