Their work improves lives.What You'll Do:• Collaborate with engineers, stakeholders etc. to determine the specifications of the project• Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements• Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities• Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations• Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met• Acquire equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies• Hire contractors and other staff and allocate responsibilities• Supervise the work of laborers, mechanics etc. and give them guidance when needed• Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports• Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issuesWhat We're Looking For:• BSc/BA degree in Civil Engineering, Building Science, Engineering, Construction or a similar field• This role requires someone who has at least intermediate knowledge of experience with underground utilities, drainage improvements, excavation, pipeline, dry utilities, and roadwork projects.• Prior field experience with a utilities contractor would also be a huge plus.• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills• Able to multitask with a strong understanding of core duties• Excellent organizational and time-management skills• A team player with leadership abilities• Ability to travelPerks & Benefits:Salary: $100,000- $150,000 depending on experience + bonus (up to 25%) + ESOP.Health, Medical, Dental, Vision, Life/Accidental Insurance.401k with matchingCompany Vehicle or Vehicle Reimbursement.Opportunities for advancement and on-site training.
