Job Title: CNC Programmer

About the Opportunity
The CNC Programmer is responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining CNC programs for multiaxis machining operations. This role partners with machinists and engineering teams to improve manufacturability, increase productivity, and ensure precision in high‑performance aerospace components.
What You’ll Do
Develop and maintain CNC programs for 3‑axis, 4‑axis, and 5‑axis machines using Mastercam.
Optimize machining processes, including tooling selection, speeds, and feeds for complex materials.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturability and machining strategies.
Perform machining simulations to validate programs and prevent equipment issues.
Support process improvements, documentation, and production goals in a high‑mix/low‑volume environment.
What You’ll Bring
High school diploma or GED.
6+ years of CNC programming experience using Mastercam software.
2+ years of experience programming 5‑axis CNC machines.
Experience selecting tooling and machining complex materials.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
What Sets You Apart
Experience with multiaxis CNC mills and lathes.
Experience with Okuma or DMG Mori 5‑axis machining centers.
Experience with Mazak Integrex machines.
Experience using ERP systems.
Experience using machining simulation software.
Additional Information
Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and drug screen.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
No security clearance required.
Work is performed onsite in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to lift 25 lbs. unassisted.
Role requires standing, bending, lifting, climbing, and other physical activities.
Overtime and weekend work may be required.
