Data Center Network Engineer Apply
Our client in Englewood, CO is looking for a Data Center Network Engineer to join their team on a contractual basis. You will be working on a collaborative team and in a lab environment, so there are no production or on-call duties:
- Designs and documents network architecture and testing of network infrastructure.
- Performs assessments on existing technologies to determine next generation architecture and migration paths.
- Works with application owners to gather requirements to develop network solutions.
- Provides recommendations to optimize network infrastructure.
- Programs routers and switches to test network architecture designs
- Complete certifications of hardware and software to approve for use in operations.
- Manages network services from planning phase through implementation.
- Solid knowledge of routing protocols, network hardware and software, security technologies, and network infrastructure is required.
Requirements
Top 3 Requirements:
- Experience working with data center equipment (rack/stack, power, cooling, etc)
- Additional networking experience with routing/switching, load balancing, BGP, Python scripting, etc.
- Eager to learn, enthusiastic personality, great communication skills
Plusses:
- Any certifications
- Programming experience
