Desktop Support Technician

Overview We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to support end-user computing environments, focusing on device deployment, asset management, and user account administration. This role requires strong hands‑on experience with Windows systems and a solid understanding of enterprise IT operations. Key Responsibilities Build, image, configure, and deploy desktop and laptop systems in a Windows environment Manage and track IT assets, ensuring accurate inventory of hardware, devices, and lifecycle status Provision and maintain user accounts in Active Directory, including account creation, group memberships, and access management Support end users with device setup, configuration, and troubleshooting as needed Maintain system documentation and asset records to ensure compliance and operational efficiency Collaborate with IT team members to support device rollouts and ongoing infrastructure needs Required Skills & Qualifications Hands‑on experience with PC imaging, configuration, and deployment in a Windows environment Proven experience with IT asset management and inventory tracking Strong knowledge of Active Directory, including account creation and group administration Solid troubleshooting skills for desktop hardware and software issues Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with imaging tools and deployment technologies Familiarity with enterprise IT environments and device lifecycle management Strong communication skills and customer‑focused approach Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Naperville, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
