Die Cutter|Foil Stamp Operator Apply
POSITION SUMMARY
The Die Cutter/Foil Stamp Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating Machine Bindery equipment in the post press operations.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Make-ready, adjust and run jobs as efficiently as possible to meet safety and productivity standards
- Follow production schedules and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Perform quality control checks to ensure finished products meet specifications
- Examine job ticket to determine quantity, stock specifications, and other special instructions
- Make necessary adjustments to ensure quality
- Ensure company safety, quality and production standards are met
- Perform maintenance as necessary
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
REQUIREMENTS:
- A self-motivated, team player who has the ability to learn new tasks quickly while maintaining a high production rate and quality standards
- Strong mechanical aptitude and math skills
- Machine operation experience- to include setting up, running, troubleshooting and quality control
- Ability to work under minimal supervision as well as understand written and verbal instructions and then carry out instructions
- Previous experience operating one or more of the following is desired; Bobst/Brausse die cutter or foil stamping. Training is available to the right candidate.
SCHEDULE:
Full-time, Hourly, Second Shift, Monday Friday 2:00 pm 10:oo pm
STARTING WAGE:
This is an hourly position and beginning wage will be in line with experience.
