Position Summary Welch's is seeking a strategic and hands‑on leader to establish and lead Welch's Enterprise Data, Analytics and Automation (CoE). As Welch's enters a critical phase of enterprise transformation with the implementation of new ERP and MES platforms, this leader's immediate priority will be establishing the data foundation that enables long‑term digital success. This includes oversight of enterprise data governance, master data management, data quality, and trusted reporting. Building upon that foundation, this role will transform data into actionable insights, improve productivity through automation, and enable the responsible adoption of AI across the organization. This person will partner across the business to build trusted data, modern analytics capabilities, and scalable automation solutions that drive measurable business value. As Welch's continues its ERP transformation and digital evolution, this role will play a key part in shaping how we leverage data and technology to make better decisions and improve performance. Where You’ll Work This role will be based out of our Waltham, MA headquarters, where you will be immersed in a dynamic workplace where innovation thrives and collaboration is key. Our in‑office schedule is designed to maximize collaboration and relationship building while balancing flexibility and well‑being. Employees are in office three days per week, with Thursdays and Fridays as remote, flex days. What You’ll Do Build and Maintain Master Data Governance to Enable Best‑in‑Class Reporting Capabilities Lead data management, master data governance, and reporting capabilities as Welch's continues its digital transformation. Establish data governance, stewardship, data quality, and reporting standards. Develop the roadmap, governance model, and priorities that enable trusted data, actionable insights, automation, and responsible AI across the enterprise. Define enterprise metrics and trusted sources of data to improve consistency and confidence in decision‑making. Manage the extract, transform and load process through the go‑live milestones for our new ERP and MES systems. Deploy the master data model for a new ERP solution. Build, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team and partner network across data strategy, governance, master data, analytics, automation, and AI. Define and Accelerate Automation and AI Adoption Lead external partners and vendors while developing internal capabilities and a culture of data‑driven decision‑making. Establish responsible AI practices and enable adoption of emerging technologies across the organization. Enable self‑service analytics and trusted data products that empower teams to make better decisions. Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities that drive growth, productivity, and better decision‑making. Identify, prioritize, and scale automation and AI solutions that improve efficiency and business performance. Partner with teams to redesign processes and unlock new ways of working. Build organizational capability through training, change management, and communities of practice that accelerate adoption of data, automation, and AI. Who You Are Business‑first leader with a strong foundation in building out master data management practices Experience leading the data migration piece of an organization through an ERP transition Strategic thinker who balances long‑term vision with practical execution. Trusted partner who builds strong relationships and influences across functions and levels of the organization. Change agent who can simplify complexity, drive adoption, and help teams embrace new ways of working. Strong communicator who translates technical concepts into clear business insights and recommendations. Collaborative leader who develops talent, fosters accountability, and promotes a culture of continuous improvement. What You’ll Need Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Information Systems, Engineering, Finance, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in data, analytics, business intelligence, automation, digital transformation, or related leadership roles. Experience with ERP transformations, master data management, Power BI, or similar analytics platforms is preferred. Strong understanding of data governance, reporting, analytics, and business intelligence practices. Experience leading cross‑functional initiatives and delivering measurable business outcomes. Working knowledge of AI, automation, and modern analytics tools and platforms. Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive organizational change. Experience in consumer products, manufacturing, food & beverage, agriculture, or supply chain‑intensive industries is a plus.
