Now Hiring: Engineering Data Analytics Specialist - Powertrain Programs Location: Dearborn, MI (Hybrid) Pay Rate: $36.67+/hour Are you a data‑driven professional with strong Power BI skills and a passion for turning complex data into actionable business insights? We are seeking an Engineering Data Analytics Specialist to support powertrain engineering programs through advanced analytics, reporting, and business intelligence solutions. In this contract role, you will partner with engineering, manufacturing, and product development teams to analyze large datasets, track cost‑saving initiatives, and develop executive‑level dashboards that support strategic decision‑making. Key Responsibilities Analyze engineering and cost‑related data to identify trends, opportunities, and performance improvements. Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, visualizations, and KPI reporting tools. Create executive‑level reports and presentations for leadership teams. Automate reporting processes and improve data visibility across organizations. Track project milestones, action items, and cost‑reduction initiatives. Support cross‑functional teams with analytics, reporting, and business insights. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting platforms. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in data analytics, reporting, or engineering analytics. Advanced Power BI and Microsoft Excel skills. Experience managing and analyzing large datasets. Proven ability to create executive dashboards and business intelligence reports. Strong communication, organization, and project tracking skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with SQL, DAX, Power Query, SharePoint, and Power Automate. Automotive, manufacturing, or powertrain industry experience. Experience supporting cost‑reduction programs, KPI development, or AI‑driven reporting solutions.
