Salary Range: $34,401.84 - $45,657.12

JOB SUMMARY:
The Field Support Clerk position is responsible for a variety of general office support and clerical duties such as answering multi-line phone, greeting visitors, preparing documents using Microsoft
Office, ordering supplies, and updating membership records. In addition, this position operates copiers, printers, scanners, personal computers, mailing equipment, postage machine, and other standard office equipment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain lobby area and greet visitors.
  • Ensure the front desk is neat, presentable, and equipped with all the necessary supplies.
  • Answering multi-line switchboard, transferring calls and prepare messages as needed.
  • Retrieve voice mail messages and forward to the appropriate staff.
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail.
  • Remove incoming faxes and distribute to appropriate mailbox.
  • Maintain supply levels on fax machines, copiers, and call for repairs as needed.
  • Track and order office equipment and supplies.
  • File and retrieve confidential documents, records, and reports.
  • Retrieve and compile data and prepare reports as needed.
  • Performs high volume scanning.
  • Enter new members into the customized computer software.
  • Compare and update membership rosters to the customized computer software.
  • Process requests for replacement membership cards.
  • Prepare new membership packets.
  • Process high volume mailings to membership as needed.
  • Create documents, maintain databases, and send memos and emails.
  • Maintain records and files.
  • Maintain conference room schedule.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and at least two (2) years paid general office clerical experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of general office procedures and systems such as managing files and records.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Great customer service skills, including a positive attitude.
  • Professional, courteous, and tactful.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively operate and maintain standard office equipment.
  • Problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with little-to-no supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and discretion.
  • Demonstrated strong proofreading skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Google.

  • Must be able to work at desk/computer for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to have repetitive wrist/hand/finger movement to work on computer and/or related office equipment.

  • Position must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 45 pounds.
