How Youll Help Us Connect the World

As a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Intern you will be part of the Corporate Finance & Analysis team that is responsible for the development and implementation of financial plans. You will participate in developing, analyzing, and implementing financial/ accounting concepts and techniques for financial planning. You will gain financial analysis and business knowledge and skills that will give you a strong foundation in the Finance & accounting field. This role will be virtual with preference given to candidates who live close to Suwanee, Georgia or Charlotte, North Carolina.

You Will Make an Impact By

  • Having the opportunity to develop strong analytical and financial forecasting skills and using data-driven insights that may drive business decisions.
  • Actively contributing and working with the team members to analyze process/system improvements and enhancements cross-functionality

Required Qualifications for Consideration

  • Actively pursuing a bachelors (upcoming sophomores, juniors & seniors) or masters degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited university
  • Proven strong academic performer with a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • An understanding of the role of financial reporting and analysis
  • Understanding of modeling and Excel skills, exposure to conducting quantitative and qualitative financial analysis, and ability to generate data-driven insights.
  • Expert level of integrity and sensitivity to confidential information.
  • In-depth understanding of financial documents.
  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship
  • Military-Affiliated candidates encouraged to apply (Veterans, Military Spouses, and Guard/Reservists)

  • Have experience with business analysis, planning, projections, and variance analysis
  • Have worked with SAP and or Oracle ERP, Business Object (SAP report writer), EPBCS, or Hyperion Essbase
  • Demonstrate strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills

  • Can handle multiple assignments simultaneously and effectively meet deadlines
  • Possess strategic and creative thinking; distinguished written and verbal communications skills
  • Have strong initiative; a self-starter with analytical skills, attention to detail, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Have experience working in a fast-paced environment and flexible to changing priorities
