Description Heritage Academy is hiring a K-8 Food Program Coordinator for the 26-27 school year. This is a 10-month, hourly position. About Augusta Heritage Academy Inc Heritage Academy is a leader in the area of urban education. Committed, called and credentialed staff deliver a rigorous education academically, and shape a child’s spirit and character. To accomplish these ideals, we partner with parents through prayer, communication and commitment to the highest good of the child and the glory of God. Job Description The Food Program Coordinator supports Heritage Academy by overseeing the daily coordination and supervision of the school’s lunch program in a safe, organized, and Christ-centered environment. This position plays an important role in the successful implementation and management of the school’s National School Lunch Program (NSLP), ensuring that students are served efficiently and cared for well during meal times. Food Program Coordinator is responsible for coordinating meal orders, maintaining vendor relationships, supporting compliance procedures, supervising cafeteria operations, and assisting students during lunch periods. This position requires strong organizational skills, professionalism, flexibility, and a heart for serving children and families. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Experience working in schools, cafeterias, food service, childcare, or customer service preferred. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work positively with students, staff, families, and vendors. Basic technology and recordkeeping skills preferred. Willingness to learn and follow National School Lunch Program guidelines and procedures. Acceptance without reservation of the school’s Statement of Faith. Successful completion of all required background checks. #J-18808-Ljbffr
