Full-Time / Part-Time

$16-$19 per hour

A growing healthcare provider is seeking a Front Office Coordinator to act as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a smooth, professional, and efficient front desk experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and visitors in person and over the phone in a professional, patient-focused manner

• Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments to optimize provider time and patient flow

• Register new patients and update existing patient records, including demographics and insurance details

• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits using payer systems

• Collect copays and outstanding balances at time of service

• Post charges accurately in line with provider documentation and coding guidelines

• Answer and triage incoming calls, directing inquiries to appropriate clinical or administrative staff

• Maintain organized patient records, including scanning, filing, and fax management

• Support daily reporting and reconciliation of front office financials

• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure seamless patient experience

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 1+ year experience in a medical office or healthcare setting

• Familiarity with scheduling systems, insurance verification, and patient registration processes preferred

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong customer service and patient-facing communication skills

• Excellent organizational and multitasking ability

• High attention to detail and accuracy, particularly with data entry and billing

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

• Professional, reliable, and team-oriented approach
