Why You’ll Love Working Here We have a remote‑first culture You will make a tangible impact on society; your code will directly improve healthcare experiences for millions We are a late‑stage startup with stability, offering startup energy with a focus on delivery, healthy processes, and a strong financial outlook that provides a sense of security Position Responsibilities Collaborate with senior developers to implement new features and improve existing functionality Provide technical leadership while coding hands‑on to build scalable, high‑impact healthcare technology Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, participating in planning and design discussions with product managers and designers Preferred Qualifications Collaborate with senior developers to implement new features and improve existing functionality Write and test high‑quality code based on design specifications and product requirements with minimal support from the team and senior engineers Participate in planning and design discussions with product managers and designers Write clean, maintainable code using technologies like Python, React, and AWS Conduct testing and debugging software to ensure high quality Become a subject matter expert on your team’s products Work in an Agile/Scrum environment Adhere to the Capital Rx Code of Conduct, including reporting noncompliance Minimum Qualifications 3+ years of software development experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred Previous Pharmacy Benefits Manager (PBM) experience preferred Git code‑management skills with experience in a mono‑repository preferred Strong Python (Flask/SQLAlchemy) and TypeScript (React) experience Experience with PostgreSQL database knowledge, e.g., common table expressions, windowing functions, views, stored procedures, full‑text or geospatial indexing techniques Proficiency targeting infrastructure as code with a security mindset (AWS, Terraform) Participation throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC) History of delivering complex web applications to the cloud Strong knowledge of unit testing across multiple paradigms Experience working with microservices or API‑based application paradigms Salary Remote, US Salary Range: $86,400—$136,000 USD New York, NY Salary Range: $108,800—$136,000 USD Denver, CO Salary Range: $100,000—$125,000 USD Policy & Disclaimers All employees are responsible for adherence to the Capital Rx Code of Conduct, including reporting non‑compliance.
