Global Tech Apprentice Program – Software Engineer – Charlotte, NC and Pennington, NJ Hybrid – Charlotte Salary: $54,000 – $62,000 (annual) or $27.17 – $31.00 hourly based on experience. Job Description: Apprentices will join a technology apprenticeship program designed to introduce associates with little to no work experience to technology roles. The role provides on‑the‑job training and builds skills over a pre‑established period. Work assignments are well defined with a high degree of supervision and direction. Responsibilities: Code solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per defined acceptance criteria. Execute automated test suites (integration, regression, performance); collect results and flag issues. Document and communicate required information for deployment, maintenance, support and business functionality. Adhere to team delivery/release process and cadence pertaining to code deployment and release. Contribute to story refinement and definition of requirements. Required Skills: Must be a recent graduate or current participant of a partnered technical training program such as NPower, Road to Hire, or Per Scholas, or be a current Community College student or recent graduate. Highly organized self‑starter who can deliver results with minimal direction. Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Team‑work oriented. Demonstrated problem‑solving abilities. Commitment to learning and building technical and business skill set. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both technology/development and business partners. Solid grasp of how technology interacts with other technology. Ability to build relationships and work effectively across multiple business partners. Shift and Location: 1st shift (U.S.) – Pennington, NJ (1300 American Blvd, Hopewell Bldg 3). 40 hours per week. Pay and Benefits: This role is compensated with a base salary and is not incentive eligible.
