Health and Wellbeing Program Coordinator Wage: $20.06 to $23.51 per hour (Compensation is determined based on relevant experience, skills, and qualifications, with most new hires starting between the minimum and midpoint of the posted wage range) Hours: Part-Time, Up to 25 hours per week Location: Gordon YMCA, Sumner, WA As a Health and Wellbeing Program Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Health and Well-being Department under the direct supervision of the Health and Well-Being Program Director. Areas of responsibility include program development, leading small groups, and maintaining program quality. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and/or two years related knowledge and experience preferred. Y-USA Foundations of Strength and Conditioning and/or Y-USA Foundations of Group Exercise certifications or equivalencies such as; ACE, ASCM, AFAA, NETA. Knowledge of basic health and fitness principles and components, exercise prescription and strength training machines. Be able to set an excellent example in health, fitness and member service. General computer skills helpful. CPR, First Aid, AED certifications Must be able to pass Background and Reference checks (in accordance with the WA State Fair Chance Act). Able and willing to complete online Child Abuse Prevention training on first day, and other online and in-person training as required.
