Job Title: Software Developer - Java Work Location: NYC, NY (Remote) Duration of Assignment: 2+ Months Pay Rate Range: $70.00-$80.00/hr on W2 Job Description: A Java Developer responsible for Saviynt integrations designs, develops, and maintains custom APIs and services that enable seamless communication between Saviynt and enterprise applications, directories, databases, and cloud platforms. This role requires strong expertise in Java, RESTful API development, authentication protocols (OAuth, SAML, JWT), and integration frameworks to support identity governance and administration (IGA) processes such as provisioning, deprovisioning, role management, and access certification. The developer works closely with IAM architects and business stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance integrations that align with organizational security standards and Saviynt implementation requirements. Backend - devops: REST API Java - Spring Boot Hibernate PostgreSQL AWS Lambdas Docker Frontend: Angular Typescript Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and test Java-based applications and software solutions • Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and other stakeholders to gather and analyze user requirements • Develop technical specifications and system architecture designs • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards • Troubleshoot and debug software defects and performance issues • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software components • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve software development processes • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold the firm's respectful and courteous work environment. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred • Proven experience as a Java Developer, with a strong understanding of Java programming language and its ecosystem • Proficiency in Java frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, or similar • Experience with web development technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks (e.g., Angular, React) • Familiarity with database systems (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB) and SQL
