Role Overview Infrastructure Project Management is redefining strategic execution at Cboe—transforming how Global Infrastructure delivers innovation through disciplined intake, transparent roadmaps, and relentless accountability. The Infrastructure Project Manager partners with engineering teams across Global Infrastructure to deliver complex technical initiatives. This is not a generalist PM role—success requires genuine technical fluency across infrastructure domains and the ability to engage credibly with engineers on architecture decisions, deployment strategies, and operational tradeoffs. Projects span the full infrastructure stack including data center strategy, network architecture, platform modernization, enterprise systems, automation, observability, and security initiatives. The person in this position serves as the central point of coordination for projects spanning multiple infrastructure domains—translating complexity into clear plans, aligning competing priorities, and driving accountability from kickoff through production deployment. Location Cboe HQ is located in the historic Old Post Office district in Chicago. Responsibilities Project Execution Lead engineering teams through the full project lifecycle, from requirements through production deployment and post‑implementation review Build and maintain roadmaps that connect technical execution to business priorities Coordinate cross‑functional activities including migrations, deployments, and production changes Stakeholder Management Serve as primary point of coordination across infrastructure engineering teams Interface with all departments at Cboe Global Markets during enterprise level projects and programs Communicate project status clearly and accurately to stakeholders at all levels; Escalate issues appropriately when project health requires intervention Risk Management Identify risks early and develop mitigation strategies before they become blockers Assess the impact of changes across interconnected systems and environments and generate mitigation plans when necessary Document lessons learned and apply them to improve project outcomes Qualifications The drive to take ownership of outcomes, not just tasks. You communicate honestly—even when the news isn't great—because that's how trust gets built. You're comfortable navigating organizational complexity and know when to invoke escalation. Engineers respect you because you understand their constraints and earn credibility through competence.
