Inside Optimization Specialist – Customer Service – Vet Tech Location: Chicago, United States.

Responsibilities The Inside Optimization Representative will educate and inform end‑users of safe and effective use of products across multiple portfolios. Provide professional clinical support to customers in a hospital/operating room environment calling on physicians, nurses, and other non‑clinical providers through education and training. You will quickly become an extension and work collaboratively with our client’s field sales organization. This role requires collaboration with sales teams to build clinical credibility and peer rapport with customers. Pivotal to your success will be your ability to develop effective working relationships with the customers in your territory, with whom you’ll interact on a regular basis. This role will also be responsible for providing analytics and deploying resources to non‑clinical stakeholders. Your primary focus will be in‑servicing, education and analytics.
Qualifications 4‑year degree from an accredited college or university preferred
Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in MedTech, Pharmaceutical Sales or B2B Sales preferred
Vet Tech experience is highly preferred
Ability to manage an assigned territory
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, action‑oriented, driven for results, adaptability
Ability to apply technical/scientific knowledge
Must set high goals and standards of performance, be a self‑starter, be able to work independently
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong MS Office, Word, Excel skills
Competencies Ability to promote the client’s Medtech team’s culture through positive, ongoing customer relationships
Ability to develop strong relationships with customers, both clinical and non‑clinical, and within the client’s Medtech team
Ability to work both as a partner with sales representative and autonomously, as needed
Ability to display decisiveness and an understanding of business acumen in clinical situations
Must be highly organized and possess strong communication skills
Employee performance will be compared with other Optimization Specialists; feedback provided accordingly
Bonus eligible; meeting the above requirements has a direct impact on this compensation
The potential base pay range for this role is $30–33 per hour. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job‑related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part‑time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
