Our client, a government agency located in Sacramento, California, is seeking a dedicated IT Systems Support Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities, aligning successfully within a dynamic organizational environment. Job Title: IT Systems Support Specialist Location: Sacramento, California Pay Range: $24.00 to $29.00 per hour What's the Job? Assist with on-site Field Service support for the downtown team, ensuring smooth daily operations. Support all supported departments by maintaining and troubleshooting IT systems and hardware. Resolve second-level Service Desk tickets related to hardware and software issues. Deploy MECM GUI and Headless images, and manage software deployments manually and via MECM task sequences. Update hardware and software assignments in the Manifest and assist users with operating systems, applications, utilities, and hardware operations. What's Needed? Strong customer service skills with a focus on user support and communication. Knowledge of Active Directory or other identity management systems. Experience troubleshooting Windows systems and resolving hardware/software issues. Ability to work with rapidly changing priorities and multitask effectively. Experience with deploying and managing IT equipment, including peripherals like printers and barcode scanners. What's in it for me?
