Job Summary (List Format):

- Full-stack developer role with a 50/50 split between middle-tier Java and modern front-end (Angular) development
- Requires demonstrated expertise in both backend and frontend technologies
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Java/J2EE enterprise application development
- Proficient in Core Java (multi-threading, concurrency, Executor framework)
- Strong experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Hibernate, and MyBatis
- Skilled in designing and implementing RESTful web services
- Experience with microservices architecture deployed on AWS
- Familiarity with JBoss and/or Apache Tomcat application servers
- Advanced SQL skills including stored procedures and query optimization
- Proficient in XML/XSLT, JSON data formats
- Hands-on experience with Angular version 14+ (component architecture, reactive forms, RxJS, routing, REST API integration)
- Proficient in TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, AJAX
- Experience with JSP and JSTL
- Familiar with DevOps tools: Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes
- Actively uses GitHub Copilot (Agent mode) in development workflow
- Knowledge of web application security best practices (OWASP, OAuth2, JWT)
- Preferred: P&C insurance domain experience, AWS certifications, performance tuning (JVM, query optimization, front-end load performance)
- Angular expertise is critical; candidates must have recent, production experience with Angular 14+ and be able to discuss features/components they built
