Java Developer

Job Overview Requirement/Must Have: 6+ years of experience in backend reactive programming languages: Java 8+ to 21. Proven track record developing lightweight reactive microservices: Vert.x, Quarkus, Micronaut or Spring Boot. Deep understanding of event driven architecture and messaging: Kafka, webhooks, asynchronous API design. Experience with PostgreSQL, Oracle, or equivalent relational databases. Experience working as an individual contributor as part of a cross functional agile team. Experience in FinTech is a plus. Proven experience in supporting mission critical platforms with high levels of availability and service continuity. Solid experience in cloud-based architecture and distributed systems. Exceptional written and communication skills. Self-directed and able to work in an ambiguous environment. Willingness to learn and be open minded about switching approaches and experimenting. Value collaboration and prioritize team interests. Skills: Java 8+ with good hands on experience. Vert.x. Spring/Spring Boot. Restful APIs. Microservices. Couchbase and any NoSQL. Kafka. Hands on with application design and software development. Agile methodology. Good communication skills.
