Java Technical Architect With GCP Responsible for researching, analyzing, designing, proposing, and delivering solutions that support and enhance business and technologies strategies. Documents and publishes technology and infrastructure reference architecture, standards and roadmaps, technology simplification strategy and planning, technology lifecycle management. Defines and rationalizes the technology and security infrastructure that supports the application solutions/tools. Provides architecture consultations, technical guidance and mentoring to engineers, designers and developers. Owns technical plan, architecture, techniques, and outcomes of scalability, stability, performance, security, and operational insight. Engages in proof of technology activities to evaluate technical options and ensure potential solutions meet core capability needs. What’s Needed? 10+ years custom software development experience with 4+ years as a lead developer or architect role. Java and JavaScript experience required. Proficiency in multiple programming languages, expertise in at least one. Experience with relational and NoSQL databases. Experience with RESTful web services. Proven experience working with all layers of application development. Significant experience with distributed computing and message-based systems. Comfortable working with open-source technologies Proficiency in data modeling and API design Proficiency in application/platform security Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Tanzu, SaaS integrations with custom software development. Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent working experience.
