Jr. Java Developer

Job Description Mandatory At least 2 years of experience in software development working with various technologies such as Java 1.5+, Spring 3.0 or above, Web Services – SOAP or REST, JSP, Servlet, Eclipse, HTML, JBoss Application Server, and Security management Tool – Siteminder. Candidate should have exposure to Jira, Maven, and SOAP UI (preferred). At least 1 year of experience working in a Global Delivery model – onsite‑offshore. At least 2 years of experience in SDLC methodologies such as Waterfall or Agile (preferred). At least 2 years of experience in project life‑cycle activities for development and maintenance projects. Candidates should possess knowledge of build and configuration‑management related processes. Technical aptitude and experience with the software tools and techniques used in software development. Must be able to collaborate with offshore team members. Candidates should have high analytical ability and impactful communication with stakeholders. Ability to participate in requirements analysis, estimation, development and code‑review activities. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks with quality, tracking them to closure. Experience in Security, credit‑card and Payments domain is a plus. Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution. Three years of progressive experience in the specialty may be considered in lieu of each year of education.
