Junior Program Analyst Onsite: Clarksburg, WV. Secret Clearance Required.

We are actively seeking Junior Program Analysts to support the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) at the cutting‑edge Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Division in Clarksburg, WV. As a Jr. Program Analyst, you will play a crucial role in the timely determination of a person's eligibility to possess firearms or explosives in accordance with federal law. Responsibilities Ensure accuracy of all processing and research in accordance with federally published guidelines.
Conduct research on explosives permit checks and analyze information for validity.
Run criminal background checks as part of the Firearm Transactions, Explosives Permits, and other varying background checks.
Report any point‑of‑contact changes to the appropriate personnel.
Communicate with law enforcement agencies via fax, e‑mail, or phone and document communications.
Evaluate existing procedures and provide recommended actions or solutions.
Complete necessary document clean‑up of existing records to update and/or purge documentation as needed.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree or a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience.
Attention to detail, oral communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and Google Chrome.
Active Security Clearance – Secret.
Ability to work multiple shifts including nights, weekends, and all holidays except Christmas.
