Junior Python Developer

Minimum Requirements
US Citizenship with TS/SCI and Counter-Intelligence Polygraph clearance
1–3 years of experience in Python development
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
Experience scripting in Python and shell scripting
Familiarity with Git/GitLab version control and CI/CD concepts
Basic understanding of REST APIs and web applications
Familiarity with Linux environments and command line tools
Experience with PostgreSQL or similar databases
Exposure to containerization technologies such as Docker
Ability to troubleshoot software issues in a collaborative environment
Strong willingness to learn new technologies and mission domains
Self-starter requiring moderate supervision
Intelligent, proactive, and driven to achieve results
Specific Duties
Develop and maintain Python-based backend services and tooling
Support troubleshooting and bug fixing across development and test environments
Assist with API integrations and data processing workflows
Write and maintain unit/integration tests
Support CI/CD pipeline improvements and automation efforts
Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and sprint activities
Collaborate with senior developers and DevOps engineers
Assist with onboarding technical documentation and user support
Pay Range
Pay Range $69,550.00 - $125,725.00. The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement, or other law.
