Job Location: Onsite role based in Miami, FL. About The Job You're Considering Capgemini is looking for a Senior Data Engineer with Snowflake and DBT experience. The ideal candidate should design, build, and maintain reliable data pipelines, models, and platforms to support analytics, reporting, and data-driven applications. Your role Data Pipeline Development: design, build, and optimize complex data pipelines and data warehouse solutions using Snowflake, dbt, Python, and Matillion or similar ELT/ETL tools. Architect new patterns within Snowflake, defining standards and reference architecture within Snowflake. Cloud Migration: transition legacy systems to cloud-based data solutions. Data Governance & Quality: ensure high standards in data governance, security, and validation. Stakeholder Collaboration: work with senior management to align data engineering efforts with business needs. Team Leadership: lead or coach team members (particularly for Manager roles). Skills And Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Management, or Industrial Engineering. Minimum 5+ years developing and implementing data warehouses or cloud data solutions. 2+ years managing a team in a data engineering capacity. Must have 2+ years Snowflake architectural experience. Technical Skills: strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and scripting languages (PowerShell). Tools: experience with Snowflake, dbt, Matillion or similar ELT/ETL tools. Methodologies: experience with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA. Base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $119,700 – $159,500. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
