Starting Date: Immediately Job Description Job Title: Learning Specialist Teacher Company: Edu-Aids Position Type: Full-Time Edu-Aids is seeking a dedicated and passionate Learning Specialist Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment that meets the diverse needs of students with disabilities. Key Responsibilities Provide individualized and small-group academic support in reading, math, and other core subject areas. Develop and implement intervention strategies to support student achievement. Assist students with executive functioning, study skills, organization, and learning strategies. Monitor student progress and adjust instructional supports as needed. Collaborate with classroom teachers to identify learning barriers and implement effective instructional practices. Partner with families and school staff to support student growth and success. Maintain accurate documentation of student interventions and progress. Participate in team meetings and professional development activities. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Education, Special Education, Instructional Design, or a related field. Valid Connecticut Special education certification, or other relevant educational credential as required by the district. Experience providing academic interventions and individualized student support. Strong knowledge of reading, math, executive functioning, and learning strategies. Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred. Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
