Litigation Associate Attorney

The Sarasota office is actively seeking an attorney who can contribute immediately to a growing litigation team handling construction, real property, and commercial litigation matters throughout Florida. Litigation Associate Attorney Benefits & Compensation Competitive base salary commensurate with experience 1,850 billable hour requirement with bonus eligibility beginning at 1,950 hours, including a $10,000 bonus opportunity and additional production-based incentives Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan with discretionary firm contribution Professional development, mentoring, and attorney training programs Clear path for long-term career growth and partnership potential Opportunity to work alongside experienced litigators on sophisticated matters across Florida National platform with a collaborative culture and strong internal referral network Litigation Associate Attorney Requirements & Qualifications Active Florida Bar license in good standing 3–5 years of litigation experience Experience in construction litigation, real property litigation, or related civil litigation matters preferred Ability to independently manage litigation responsibilities while working collaboratively within a team Experience handling all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, and hearings Strong legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills Excellent communication and client relationship management abilities Strong academic credentials Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities Ability to work full-time in the Sarasota office Litigation Associate Attorney Preferred Background & Skills Construction litigation experience Real property litigation experience Defense-side litigation experience preferred Experience drafting and arguing dispositive motions Experience conducting and defending depositions Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work Collaborative approach and desire to build a long-term career with the firm Litigation Associate Attorney Day-to-Day Responsibilities Support and manage litigation matters throughout Florida Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, responses, and legal memoranda Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies Take and defend depositions Prepare for and attend hearings, mediations, and court proceedings Assist with case management from inception through resolution Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, witnesses, and experts Collaborate with partners and attorneys across the firm's litigation practice Provide practical legal guidance and strategic support to clients If you are a litigation attorney seeking sophisticated litigation work, meaningful client interaction, and long-term career growth with a nationally respected law firm, we encourage you to apply. #J-18808-Ljbffr
