Location: Oswego, NY (Oswego Health)
Contract Duration: 8 Weeks
Shift: 8-Hour Nights (6:00 AM 2:00 PM)
Schedule: 40 Guaranteed Hours | Every Other Weekend Required

Compensation

Pay Rate: $40/hr (W2)
Negotiability: Up to $1/hr based on experience only

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) for a Long-Term Care (LTC) contract opportunity in Oswego, NY. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate nursing care to residents while collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.
Job Requirements
  • Active New York LPN License (Required)
  • Minimum 1+ year of Long Term Care (LTC) experience
  • Current BLS Certification
  • Must be willing to float within the facility no exceptions
Job Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care to LTC residents
  • Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to the care team
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Complete accurate documentation
Patient Population
  • Common diagnosis: Dementia
Overtime Policy:
  • Daily OT after 24 hours (based on multiplier)
  • Weekly OT after 48 hours (based on multiplier)
