The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and organizing a significant fundraising campaign to raise $2-3B of tax equity and debt over the next three years. This role involves managing and growing relationships with financial institution partners, providing oversight for all project finance and M&A transactions in North America, and collaborating with various internal teams to structure and close deals. The Managing Director will also be involved in training and mentoring team members, evaluating financial structures, and representing the project finance and M&A function on cross-functional teams. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred) and at least 18 years of energy-related transactional finance experience, with a strong focus on project finance, structured finance, and tax equity. The role requires deep expertise in tax equity and project financing structures for renewable energy projects, as well as the ability to implement complex financial transactions while balancing various considerations. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to work in a fast-paced, transaction-driven environment.
