A confidential plaintiff-side personal injury litigation practice is seeking an experienced Litigation Associate Attorney to take ownership of an active caseload in Florida state and federal courts. This is a hands‑on role for a trial‑ready litigator who wants meaningful responsibility across the full case lifecycle, from filing through verdict.

THE ROLE
Meet with clients, evaluate claims, and file lawsuits
Propound and respond to written discovery
Take and defend fact witness depositions
Retain appropriate experts and manage expert discovery, including expert depositions
Prepare for and attend hearings
Prepare for and attend mediations, negotiations, and settlement conferences
Prepare cases for trial and try cases to verdict
Draft and file post‑trial motions as needed
Participate in file audits, litigation attorney meetings, and trial skills trainings
LOCATION, SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION
Location: South Florida
Schedule: Hybrid, in office 3 days per week
Compensation: Total compensation up to $250,000, commensurate with experience
REQUIREMENTS
Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
Active Florida bar license in good standing
3 to 8 years of plaintiff‑side personal injury litigation experience
Minimum of 2 jury trials as first chair, with a demonstrated track record of results
Ability to manage a large, active caseload from filing through verdict
Strong legal research, writing, motion practice, and courtroom advocacy skills
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
PREFERRED BACKGROUND
Experience directing and collaborating with litigation support staff
Additional first‑chair or second‑chair trial experience in personal injury matters
Experience across a mix of personal injury case types (for example, auto injury, premises liability, catastrophic injury, medical malpractice)
