Job Summary:

We seek a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse certified to practice in Hawaii. The Registered Nurse will provide skilled nursing care, case management, and hospice care to patients, performing assessments, medication administration, treatment planning, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. The role requires strong communication and collaboration skills and at least 2 years of relevant experience. The position covers a 40-hour workweek on day shifts with weekend coverage.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide skilled nursing care to patients in various settings including hospice and case management.
  • Conduct patient assessments and administer medications as prescribed.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Communicate clearly with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
Required Skills & Certifications:
  • Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Hawaii.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in hospital, home health, or hospice care.
  • Clinical assessment, medication administration, and treatment planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Driver's license, car insurance, and reliable automobile for field work.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
  • Experience in Medical/Surgical, ICU, ER, Psychiatric, Labor & Delivery, PACU, or Operating Room specialties.
  • Additional certifications in specialty nursing areas.
Special Considerations:
  • Must be able to cover weekend shifts as part of the schedule.
  • Work environment may include hospice and home health settings requiring travel.
Scheduling:
  • 40 hours per week, day shift.
  • Weekend coverage required.
