Operating Room Assistant

Operating Room Assistant (Operating Room) Stanford Hospital is seeking 2 Operating Room Assistants for a 13‑week contract. Candidates must reside within commutable distance from Palo Alto. Shift Details 40 hours per week, 5 eight‑hour evening shifts: 2:30 pm – 11 pm. Job Responsibilities Dispose of trash and linen according to hospital protocol. Perform patient care functions in accordance with hospital and regional policies. Assist with shave preps, non‑invasive monitoring, specimen collection, ambulating and repositioning patients. Receive instruments and equipment from assigned OR rooms, remove items tagged "broken", and clean rooms and equipment per protocol. Perform housekeeping and stocking duties to maintain a clean, safe work environment. Pay Hospital pays on experience; weekly gross range $1,000–$1,320, paid weekly. Requirements Must live within commutable distance. Enjoy a fast‑paced environment. Hospital experience preferred. Current BLS (AHA). Provide medical documents within 48 hours.
